Hi all,
Is there anyone that could offer some tuning tips or point me in the right direction for tuning the 09' Boxxer WC fork & the Fox DHX 5.0. I've been to each website but would like a little more info if it's available. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! We do full suspension tuning at our shop down in Beacon. We are especially good at downhill bikes! Our DH team is one of the fastest around and we've spent a lot of time getting suspension dialed for people. Feel free to stop in or give us a call!

Tom and the gang have definitely hooked me up with good advice and service at Beacon Cycles. You can't go wrong starting there!

I have had to spend a lot of time on my own though tuning my suspension. It just takes time to test things out.
I have a boxxer WC '10 and have had really good luck with the RockShox tuning guide as a place to start. Unfortunately I don not see the '09 doc on their site. If the '10 and '09 are very similar start with the '10 guide. It's really good.
For the DHX, fox has a so-so manual. Nothing as detailed as the Boxxer, but in their defence the differnt leverage ratios and suspension types would be hard to deal with in one guide.
Really for me it has been all about finding the right spring weight. I have a VPP suspension and I am very lightweight 5'8" 140lbs. I started with a 400lb spring and am on a 350 now. I think I need a 325, but it has to be Ti as there are no 25lb incremented steel available. A good calculator is here:

So far the VPP setting seems to be right on for me. Wish I found this a long time ago.
The other useful sources are here on pinkbike:

Good luck and let us all know how you do.
