I found a free Giant MTN Bike in Marbletown today. It looked like ~18" frame, black, rigid fork, good shape from 55mph, definitely steel.

If anyone wants it, I can pick it up in the morning (if it's still there). If you want it tonight, it's on the right side of 209 South just after the Marbletown fire department and Marbletown Inn. If you do want it, don't flake out on me and leave me with another POS bike...I have enough of those already.

Just a heads up in case someone wanted a beater.

Take care,
Kevin

Hey there, did you notice if the bike is within reason
of riding? I work part time at a bike store. And we fix em
up a bit and give them to people. So if it's worthy of a
simple makeover, I would say yes to it.
My # is 914 489 3397

It's all yours Smile

Looks like an early 90's Giant Rincon. Very dirty, but complete, sans grips. Wheels appear to be true on the quick spin. Cro-Mo main tubes, 16" frame, 26" wheels. Mix of Shimano Acera and Exage components. Great shape under the dirt though!

I'll try and clean it up a little, but I may not be able to. I'll give you a call soon to arrange a drop, or you can reach me at 339-5751.

....article in Dirt Rag about helping Rwanda with bikes.
Harry had a bumpersticker Recycle -Ride Your Bike Again
I'd like to find a source for those stickers, and get em in the shops.
