Riding on the snowmobile tracks can be a real blast. If conditions are right, the track imprint lets you climb well. Stewart can be great then, especially when the tracks lead into the twisty wooded parts. |

Mighty thankful for the "Heads-Up", Bill! Looks mighty interesting, from a 10-miler perspective........
.........FineTune J rides some similar stuff local like, that he also preps himself.........maybe I could get him to 'Sponsor' a winter ride this season.......

Newport, VT is a good 6 hours from Kingston in decent weather. Right up on the Canadian boarder for all intensive purposes...
Jay Peak is one of the BEST mountains in the east to ski, plus, they have the most snowfall. If I was driving 6 hours in the winter to get there, you can bet that a bike would not be on the roof. |

No much snow in northern Vermont. We had one good morning at Jay and that was it. I brought the cross bike for some small rides.....The majority of the time we enjoyed cocktails...... _________________ Keep Em' Turning! |
