Lets make the Bash - Bish ride happen...
When's best for you...preferably a Sunday, and soon. (???)
Its a 22 miler, takes about 4 hours (with stops), and is pretty cool.
We start with a few miles of paved climbing then a dozen miles of Berkshires boulder boulevard to end with a just a few miles of NY rail trail.
No bikes allowed on the NY singletrack side of the falls...
6+ mile add on option.
Byo munchies /cozies for post ride season send-off ~its been a good one.
Off route 22, take 344 about a mile past cabins to lot on right & park.

11/2 is the morning after the 909 night race-just food for thought.
Thinking it could work 11/2...
Hoping to get to this ride-haven't been... _________________ If I can bicycle, I bicycle.

11/2 is best for me!
10/26 is the Schenectady race.
It may be a little cold to jump into the water
Tim--what exactly is the route? Do you go all the way up to the headquarters area and then do the Alander trail? |

I can do 10/26 only, if that's the date I'm in. |

We've got the votes for 11/2, and the weather is also working against this weekend's feasability.
10 AM, WHEELS DOWN READY TO GO, OK?
Also, the 6 mile extension option can be chosen @ the end. It has more climbing to start, a little hike-a-bike, then singletrack. Its good too. _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |

How technical of a ride is it? I have several loops around Vassar Farm under my belt and would like to ride something a little more advanced but not too much.

It has enough technical riding and being 22 miles long -it is an intermediate or better ride, with sections that are very technical. Because we'll be going 10 miles out from the cars, this isn't a ride to guess.
If you can ride 15-20 miles @ 909/Blue/etc, you'd be fine. _________________ Pedal, b*tches!! |
