i'd be happy to arrange this for sunday. we can start at the parking lot in woodstock, ride the road to the top of overlook down the backside to platte clove then the road back to woodstock. it takes 3 hours at a comfortable pace.

start at 10am?

wish i could but i race saturday and then Xterra Regionals in Richmond the following weekend. that's why the big push to ride this weekend.

Not the road up, after the cabins on the right side of the road is a small lot/trail head ~the base of the "horse trail". Its an old doubletrack thats reverted to singletrack in most places. Gordon and myself rode it last year (pics) and only had to stop maybe 3 times, no hike-bike really.
Options to return down, even 23a is fun going down. Speeds of around 50 mph!
