I find the tow hitch better.
I've know too many people ripping their bikes off the roof rack driving
into garages. even if you don't have a garage you could drive under a car port like my neighbo ... |

That was the rockies and rootyest thing I ever raced/rode on.
I don't think I will race that course again. the shorter distance was nice
but the that was about it.

Drop your elbows down and try to keep your forearms parallel to the hill you are climbing. The steeper the climb the lower your elbows go. Also to conserve energy on long sustained climb ... |

You may also want to stay very hydrated in the higher altitudes. You dry out really quickly there. Your nose, and skin dry out really quickly. When I went to Vail my nose became instantly dried out ... |
