Ok, got the front on the bike with no issues. Tires specs out to about 2.6".

When I get my 2.8 Maxxis Rekon's I'll let you know. My Santa Crux 26 is converted to 27.5 and standard rims. Should be about a week.

Tuesday night was 4-6" of slush over frozen ground. There's still about 2-3" of snow around. Early morning start with below freezing temps should be good.
